Muckrakers Hall of Fame Nominations
Muckrakers were investigative journalists and "trouble-makers" who tried to expose the shortcomings of society in order to make the world a better place.

Your Task
The Muckrakers Hall of Fame (MHF) is a new institution dedicated to honoring the intrepid journalists, writers and social critics who confronted and exposed injustices in society.

You and your partner are aspiring young historians who are going to prepare a persuasive presentation for the Muckrakers Hall of Fame (MHF) selection committee to get your muckraker nominee selected.

You and a partner will have 5-8 minutes to present a shared Google Presentation that will try to persuade the committee (the rest of the class) to vote for your muckraker.

10 bonus points if your nominee is selected.

The voting link will be sent to you on the day of the presentations.

Your presentation should include the following:
Really brief biographical info
Description of the injustice being investigated (i.e., context)
Muckraker's exposé (books, articles, photographs, etc.)
Impact (did the exposure change anything?)
i.e., Why does your nominee belong in the MHF?
